Lotus Minds transforms Blvk H3ro 'Feet Don't Fail' into rich remix

Lotus Minds adapts the soulful Blvk H3ro 'Feet Don't Fail' into a wholesome remix.

The original, taken from The Immortal Steppa by contemporary Waterford, Portmore artist Blvk H3ro, is a soothing reggae anthem; written and performed by the young man. “With live instrumentation from some of Reggae's legendary musicians, the singer's uplifting message booms through sound systems, inspiring a new generation of Jamaican story tellers”. It is an abstract statement against oppression, rising up, and unity.

“I come to shed some light on the System’s fallacies / The way a man proceed, be an example and set the lead / So with the music, bussweh take the streets”

Lotus Minds is an electro-chill project made by Bastido and Florian Hausner. The duo up the tempo to this feel-good record; resulting in a little more funk and motion. A fantastic guitar solo rains down on a substantial amount of the record, implementing a piercing bolt of passion and rhythm. Though it is elevated in its liveliness the narrative remains through H3ro’s vocals and even into the visuals. As clips of strong figures are scattered throughout. We are shown times of war, MLK’s famous speech (which holds a great audio clip), protests and marches, politics and government, and refugees.
