Peckham's CS launches Everybody Hates Chris, alongside 'Suttins In The Whip visuals

For the last year or two, CS has made his way back on to the rapping scene and is climbing up the ladder fairly effortlessly. Clearly a guy with a unique style and talent, he stepped in with 2 Link Up freestyle - the first gaining 1 million views, and the second gaining 1.3m. He comes forth as of recent days with an anticipated project entitled Everybody Hates Chris, and visuals for ‘Suttins In The Whip’.

The Peckham rapper appears on his first filmed interview with Samuel Eni, where he’s asked who is CS; explaining his style; life in prison; childhood’ working with new artists; and he’s brand new mixtape.

Unless I’m mistaken, ‘Suttins In The Whip’ is the first joint taken from the mixtape to portray visuals and seemingly the lead single. CS is raw, gritty, open about his realities, Peckham, trails and tribulations and embodies a cold style. This track keeps that same MO - “I can’t tell you bout a tour, but I can tell you bout a 4”. However, the instrumental used is a little more upbeat than CS usually uses. Still, holding a cold string or flute sample, the beat sounds like CS is stepping into the afrobeats worlds- however little by little. Nowadays, rappers coming with a project will always house at least one ‘afro-type’ riddim so it’s a given, and thankfully, the SN1 affiliate does it extremely well.

Below is CS’ mixtape - take it in, as i still need to fully. He appears to have a great deal of content to give; stories to explain; life and knowledge to provide.
