Flyo launches 2nd single from Supafly, 'Things' with the forever cold, Youngs Teflon
Payday Records producer, Flyo, and South London rapper, Youngs Teflon, once again flex together on the brand new, ‘Things’ - the second single taken from Flyo’s upcoming project Supafly.
Initially touching base with each the other through Suspect’s Loading, and recently connecting again on ‘Let’s Go Trap’ ft Aystar, these two musicians are a well fitted match. The producer is best known for his trappy work with the OTB general, yet he is now forming a stand out name for himself amongst the UK rap scene, and plan’s to hit out with his own project, Supafly’ - predicted for July 2019. The first single came in the form of the dark and aggressive ‘Rap N-’ ft Suspect, CSB’s Skrapz and SN1’s Tiny Boost. Now we are delivered the second single.
Flyo hits a unique pocket of calmness but danger; low-key lurk but loud attitude type sounds, with his instrumentals. Delicate melodies are consistent; bounce is consistent; deep bass is consistent. End of, his beats are cold and hard. Bells rain down similar to ‘Let’s Go Trap’ but in a higher pitch, as Teflon preps himself for the first verse. The weight of the record is kicked off with sub bass and tight drums with several interesting percussion hits from some sort of hand drum. With a persistent route through UK rap, this producer could definitely be a leading force in the scene; and to be fair, with the roster of names he’s working with, he may basically already be there.
Youngs Teflon jumps in with strength as his “M” flow hooks us in. The “fire” rapper does his thing on the record like always. A cold, collected flow; and realist bars for himself and his community’s lifestyles. He proceeds with big rap bars, competitive lyricism, and the narrative of the record:
Sold Q’s and halves and things. Me and bro go half on things. Sawn-offs, star 9’s and things. Now we into the nicer things. Italian clothes and things. German transport and things. Regent Street with things. West End one up with the ching(?).
