J-Zino launches wavy visuals for 'Drip Drip'
Norwegian grime artist, J-Zino, has been linked with the British sound for a while now. After the release of his last EP, he now returns to partner visuals to electric single, ‘Drip Drip’.
In 2018 the young lyricist produced 7400ron EP, showcasing his energetic style and recognition within UK rap culture with features from Snowy Danger and Sneakbo. He now steps back into the musical realm with his first single release of 2019, ‘Drip Drip’.
The record, produced by Sweden’s William Abika, is an explosion of deep bass; awakening hooks; and slick bars. Airy flutes and dancing hi hats create a wavy mix for the Oslo rapper to drip on. We are presented with J-Zino’s rapid raps, as well as his effort in powerful hooks, as an auto-tuned “driippppp'“ rings out repeatedly.
The visuals, directed by Nicolay Kjærnet and co-directed by Zino, are as wavy as the single. A fusion of deep purples, dark atmospheres, luxury stores and saucy shots form the basis of these visuals, as the main man spits his way through.
Keep your eyes on this guy, as he is most definitely at the forefront of leading this English genre across European territories.
