Unstoppable pair, Kannan & MistaKay, provide even more music with 'Hunni'

Dynamic Northern partners Kannan and MistaKay release yet more music with ‘Hunni’ and confirm their running streak; versatility; combined talent; and in general, the effortless ability to create good music.

Even after the release of Top Charvas, the pair are still pushing strong and uniting to deliver new music. There was a variety of styles on the former project, though the pair continue to max the limits and this time seek something with even more bounce; even more Summer vibes; even more energy and vibes; and even more well achieved singing from Kannan.

Beginning with a droplet-sounding synth and synthed bass that sound straight out of a Teddy Bear’s picnic playlist (or an 80’s video game, as portrayed in the title’s font), this instrumental from MistaKay is lively, fun, upbeat, and charismatic. The steady beat persists, as Kannan raps about staying on his grind; not taking a loss in music (“I’ve been through bare, my hair loss will prove it. That’s why I daren’t take a loss in music.”); and chasing the money and the freedom. Furthermore, to take this Teddy Bear’s picnic even further, the pair venture off into a wooded area for the visuals. As the pair can be seen vibing together whilst nostalgic effects make a greater impact on the video game narrative.
