Scorcher lays a dangerous one-take in LinkUp's 'HB Freestyle'

In a power play, Scorcher steps up to Link Up TV’s ‘Hardest Bars’ to deliver “No games, just bars” in this cold freestyle.

In the 1-take freestyle, Scorcher truly brings an arsenal of wicked bars, talented skills, and unrivaled lyrics. The Movement member offers further insight into his persona as he begins with “My lifestyle’s peek when you deep it. Let me let you in on man’s secrets.” As the calm, weighty beat proceeds, he definitely uses this chance to again, set himself above other MCs just by his skill and content. From ‘Could Be Worse’ to ‘Gargoyle’ to this, he is moving from strength to strength - and with little help. We haven’t seen a collab yet or some shinning feature. Furthermore, to lay out two phenomenal records, and now follow it up with a credited freestyle, is a well calculated move. Assuredly confident in his own process, the rapper is moving with a colossal force; this journey will most certainly be interesting to watch.

Back to the freestyle, as the Enfield rapper unveils his hardest bars, we are delivered an observation on his activities. If the freestyle is anything to go by, this currently consists of women, moving packs, purchasing waps, artistry and roadman comparisons - i.e. “This ain’t that metaphor clever shit. It’s that go jail, get a tek, never send a letter shit.”
Though the second half consists of a more music competitive vibe, old school references, his time in this game and yet again, more women.

The amount of music he has released and time in between, shows us that he is calm with it. He seems to be processing and analysing each step before he takes it; making sure that it will dominate the scene, and ultilise the content, as greatly as possible. Truly a powerful musician and purposefully determined man, 2019 Scorcher is a very dangerous artist.
