Vybz Kartel still doing damage with visuals for 'Sexability'
Even locked down Vybz Kartel continues to smash the dancehall scene. His latest visuals, for ‘Sexability’, of course don’t contain the Worl’ Boss, but do portray a healthy array of thirst; infamous Jamaican dancing; and compelling locations.
It’s a known fact that Kartel is unstoppable, even amongst the highest of obstacles. In 2016 alone he released over 50 songs (Rolling Stone, 2016); has released 21 songs this year! (Spotify, 2019); and since the ‘Sexabililty’ single was dropped, has pushed out ‘Tek It Out’ and ‘Back Way’. He now delivers new visuals that are certainly holding the attention of any man (and a couple girls).
Housed by Squirl Entertainment, this record is partnered with the explicit version entitled ‘Fuckability’, slightly more crud. With the level of complete internet access these youngsters have nowadays, it’s good to see Kartel bear this in mind and do his part to keep the youth innocent as he frequently puts out censored versions ㅋ. As this song leaves little to the imagination, the suggestive lyrics go through male to female attraction; complimenting certain feminine assets; and detailing the characteristics of lust and temptation - basically a dedication to the beautiful creatures that women are. The visuals, directed by Jay Will, also leave little to the imagination. Amongst a healthy coating of females we are shown all kinds of thirst - lustful shots; desiring dance moves; and arousing acts. Also within includes some ‘street’ shots and other interesting locations; gatherings; and clips of singular persons. This is common in a Kartel music video, obviously due to the absence of himself.
Overall, a decent track and one to prepare us for the Summer sun…. and the King of Dancehall’s (hopefully) upcoming album Exiled Pharaoh, due to drop later this year.
